MI forend for AR

Any feed back on the MI forend? I like the idea af being able the use the top and 2 sides without the bottom. Is there any others that do that?

they tend to be heavy and often pretty far out of spec(possible trouble fitting items you want).

You can run a 37 mm flare launcher or shotgun under the barrel.

I have a Midwest Industries rail on my AR...everything I own bolts on no problem.

The VLTOR CASV-EL is free float, uses the Delta ring and the bottom can be removed for mounting a grenade launcher...

They are a good value, but I prefer LaRue and Daniel Defense.

I have since gone with a Larue but the MI drop-in rails have served me well.
