Four screws, diamond-pattern grips...4" blue, serial # 33xxx ...any guesses as to when it was made?

Mr. Rat: You can try Mr. Nolden's web at this site or call S&W directly. I believe they have a historical research capability and can give you a very quick answer. Me, I don't have a clue as to when it was made, but you have got one of the really good ones! Have fun...
