remington rolling block ID

I have a remington rolling block with a 28" (chamber included) tapered octagonal barrel and cresent steel buttplate. The only marking are REMINGTON ARMS CO. ILION.N.Y.U.S.A. on the top of the barrel 38W on the bottom of the barrel a sideways P proofmark about 1/2" away from the 38W and the serial no. H42XX on the lower grip tang. Any help with The ID is appreciated

Do you have any photos of the rifle and the receiver? If so, please post. That would help.
