Fed 210M Primers, where are they?

Anybody have any sources that have the federal 210M primers?
every place I have looked is sold out and midwayusa has them listed as no backorder.

Did you try Grafs, Cabelas, or Natchez? From the rumor mill at Sportsman Warehouse is that the factory burned where they are/were produced and there are no more. If you can find some, buy them up.

Supposedly Champion packaged primers are the same.

Anybody in NE Wisconsin that can't find any, I have 300 I would part with.

Hardegg,

Primers, cases, bullets are made on a forecasted sales basis. Right now, certain components are being consumed beyond forecast. Fed 210M is one of the best examples. My guess is the war effort, plus several folks buy "for the year (myself included) and the increased interest in target/sport shooting equals demand beyond forecast.

Some of the companies (on the internet) that I buy from still have 210M's. They are: T&T reloading, Midsouth (shipment inbound), Powder Valley (on order), Gunstop (maybe) and several others. Just keep trying.

I haven't heard of a fire at any ATK (Federal) plant and I would generally hear if that did occur.

Hope this helps,
LP

Put this in the FWIW file. The Gov't has placed a combined order with all ammo makers of 10,000,000 rounds. Look for primers, powder, brass, and bullets to get scarce for a while. If you need 223 or 308 ammo, better stock up now as you probably won't be able to buy any at any price in a month or so. And yes, this should be a temporary situation- no panic needed or required. The only question I have is why do they need so much ammo.

I noticed they were getting scarce around September. Luckily I came across a box of 1000 at sportsman's warehouse. My 6mm rem loves em.
