The National Blind and Disabled Hunter Program (NBDHP)

In another thread, I used an unflattering term to refer to a member who demonstrated ignorance about a proposed law in Texas.

Contained in my remarks that got deleted, was some information that merits repeating even if I am just a newb. An article which should be read before making fun of the TX law can be found here:

There are a couple of stories about individual hunters also at the site:

To make it easier to comprehend, thhink of the "hunter" as two people cooperating to preform one act. Responsibilities are shared and practiced before ever going into the field ... If an accident should happen, accountability will be assigned after the cause is demonstrated.

Newbies have just as many rights here as old-timers. Always remember, though, "Attack ideas, not the other member(s)."

It's not always easy for some to communicate by typing, without the ability to provide facial expressions or body language to help in understanding what's meant--which can be different, really, from what's typed.

You're from BATFE? Come right in! I use all your fine products!

Just Passing By,
The articles you posted are interesting. But all except the first one are sponsored by Crimson Trace. There may be some conflict of interest there.
