7.62 x 54mm Russian
Can you use this for pig, blacktail deer, muley, maybe a black bear. and does anybody have the ballastics chart for this round. i appreciate the help thank you. 180 grain bullets from remington is what i would think about using.

Yeah you bet. It has ballistics close to the .308 and 30-06.

muzzle velocity 2579 muzzle energy 2658. Like any cartrige it varies some but this is pretty average. Just under 30-06 ballistics.

My handle "greasemonkey" represents what I do for a living (auto mechanic) if that tells you anything (to get into that field you got to have a couple nuts and bolts loose) . I wish it was jhrocketscientist but what can you do?
