Wcc Brass?

i have a whole bunch of once fired WCC+P brass... who makes this this brass and what does wcc stand for? thanks........

WCC stands for Western Cartridge Company.

It's a headstamp used by Winchester. Olin/Winchester bought out the Western Cartridge Company years ago.

so it's actually winchester brass huh?? cool that's my favorite kind of brass.... i should have said they are .38 spl+p headstamped......

Yep.

At one time it apparently was made exclusively at the East Alton, Ill., plant.

Primer pockets can be a bit tight on WCC 38 brass but if yours is +P stamped it isn't crimped military primer pockets.

I have a LOT of WCC 38 brass, some of it loaded at least 20 times. I put a light chamfer on the primer pockets and all is well.
