Nosler Brass

I went to buy some new brass for my .300 mag. The dealer had Winchester, Remington and Nosler cases. The Nosler's were over twice as expensive as the Rem and Win. brass. Are the Noslers worth the extra cost?

For a custom gun, yes. I got some for my very well done 22-250. For that gun it was a good investment. Its already prepped and weight segregated. If you have a rack grade store gun, prolly not. sundog

I saw that "Nosler Custom" brass also for like $36.00 for 50. I was interested until I realized that I do that stuff to all my brass anyway.

It's weight sorted,sized,trimmed,camfered,de-burred,and flash hole uniformed.

I didn't open up the box but I would guess that it's packaged in such a way as to not bang up the case mouths like the bulk brass does.

Took me about an hour to get the winchesters the same....for $12 bucks.

Buy Lapua and never look back, or buy Nosler but get the seconds from the Pro Shop on the Nosler web site. The brass is half the price and only varied 2 grs from top to bottom. Plus what you pay for 50 noslers you get 100 lapuas!

Brass quality

Lapua is the best there is for brass. Period. Norma is probably in second place. I take it that Nosler is trying to play in this league.

Real good stuff, and you pay for it. I like it for my upper-end rifles.
