Primer Tool on Redding 25 Press

Hi Folks!

A good buy on a slightly used Redding 25 turret press has given me the final push into handloading

The press is pretty straightforward, but for safety's sake, I want to confirm one thing...

The press is equipped with what I _think_ is a primer tool. It appears that you load the primer into a spring loaded cup, tip the tool into a slot in the ram, and it inserts the primer on the downstroke of the ram.

Correct?

Thanks!
Dave

Thanks! Now, if you've used one, how do you know when you've applied enough pressure ... and with the leverage you can apply with this press, my major fear is applying too much pressure.

Thanks again!
