Can someone please tell me the difference between win 300 mag/ browning 300 mag/ win 300 ultra mag/ and win ssm?

The bullets are all the same diameter, .308" for the nominal .300 bore barrels.
The cartridges are completely different and not interchangeable, although Winchester and Browning both make rifles for two versions, the 300 Winchester Magnum and the .300 Winchester Short Magnum. The .300 Ultra Magnum is a Remington product. Check out the Remington and Winchester websites for details and ballistics.

Well, I will try. I am a little confused by you "/" marks but here goes.

win 300 mag/ I think you mean 300 Winchester Magnum, or 300WM. It is a 30 caliber or .308 with a belted case. Here is a link to case dimensions etc.

browning 300 mag/ No clue, unless you mean a Browning Rifle cambered in one of the 300 magnum rounds?

win ssm/ Again no clue, unless you are talking about the Winchester Short Magnum (WSM). The WSM is a relatively new line of chamberings by Winchester. They are 270 WSM (27 caliber), 7MM WSM, 300 WSM(.308 caliber) and the very new 325WSM (8MM). They are short and fat compared the the longer and narrower 300WM and 300 RUM.
If you mean the WSSM line, it is again a new set of chamberings by Winchester. These are very short and very fat. They come in the smaller calibers like 243WSSM and 25WSSM.

thats exactly what I was asking. Ive seen these different styles of 300 mag and never knew the difference.
