.30 sabots ... available?

Someone was talking about the sabots for .458 ... does anyone know where (if?) the .30 -> .22 sabots are available ... might be fun to have a recoilless load for the CZ-52 in 7.62x25.

I find 'em at gun shows here & there. They are usually pre-loaded with ? wt/mfg ... haven't had very good sccuess with 'em to date albeit with fairly minimal atte,pts.

One thing to consider, the sabot appears to be shed rather quickly as my bud's chronograph can testify - only one screen had to be replaced.

Can order them out of shotgun news.Fun to play with out of a 308.Hadn't thought of trying them in 7.62by 25.Have to do that when my rifle is done.I don't know if they will cycle in a auto or not.

JD wants 6 cents/shot + shipping

Knowing what kind of outfit hi-vel is, I don't think the extra money is
for extra quality.

I have those 30/22 sabots above, but they are too long for me to fit them in a CZ52. Others seem to do it on rec.guns.

I did drill a 7/32" hole in a 30 cal bullet and pounded a 223 tracer in. The CZ52 set it off just fine

Now I think Widner's has some 30 carb tracers that would be much better in the CZ52.
