titegroup .45acp 230gr JHP load request

The manual says 4.8max at 1.2OAL for a 230gr FP, but after looking around online I can't seem to find any data for a 230gr JHP.

I'm thinking of starting at 4.5 and working from there. Has anyone else used this combo? If so, what loads did you use?

thx

I use 230gr MG JHP's w/4.7gr @1.240. Feeds perfectly and is more accurate than I can take advantage of offhand. From bags, it will deliver 2½ @ 25 yds consistently, slow fire of course.

I have worked with a heavier charge, but 4.7 is the sweet spot for my gun

YMMV
