Pre ban weapons?class lll

i was wondering does anyone know what you need to have to purchase pre ban auto weapons like uzis etc and all those cool collectors items, and where is a good place to buy these weapons, i appoligize if this isent the rite place to post this or if i have the wrong term for these weapons, i am new with firearms in general just trying to get the basic info, thanks a bunch

If by pre-ban you mean pre-1986 look at:

But be prepared to spend ALOT of money. The basic entry level MG goes for about $3000 now. Also your state has to allow possession and you have to jump through all the federal hoops as well. It's not easy to send thousands of dollars to someone halfway across the country and then wait up to 9 months for the fedgov to do their thing before you can even put your hands on your new toy.

My last Form 4 took about 150 days, clearing in July 2005. I have heard that they were going faster now that the office has moved. My latest one was cashed 8 weeks ago, but has not been returned yet.
