Just out of curiosity (spelling?) how many rounds do you all get to shoot per week? I am lucky if I can get out once every other week for about 500 rnds per session. How about you guys?

I guess I am lucky I get out twice a week.
I belong to an indoor club, and shoot about 500 to 700 rounds per week, out of these about 300 are 22 Cal. Rounds For compation.

So I guess I am loading about 300-400 rounds per week playing with defferant loads. I have finaly Found my best loads. Lazercast 9mm and 380 and berrys Bullets, Same cal's.

I am currently doing about 500 rounds of .38 spl/.357 magnum or so a month. I find that I fatigue and waste money if I shoot over 100-150 rounds at a sitting, so often do a hundred or so .22 cal for sight picture.

Recently I've tired of practicing poor habits too much, so have cut back and begun putting in quality time. Last trip was an hour and only 36 shots. They made a nice group, though.

I personally shoot about two hundred rounds per week, divided pretty equally between 9mm and whichever rifle I happen to grab on my way out the door.

I try to make it to the range atleast once a week. Generally shoot for an hour which equals 200 rounds. Usually all centerfire, but I mix in some rimfire rounds once and a while.

I try to get out about once a week, and go through between 200 and 500 rounds, split between the .243 and .45ACP. About once a month the whole family goes and we go through about 700 rnds.
Have fun,
Bill

I used to shoot about 500 rds a week. I shot my AR-15 first, then my .308 bolt action. After that, I bought the target in to 25yds. and shot my Colt 1911 and my Beretta mod 92. I also used to shoot a Glock in .40 S&W.

A few months ago, I got bitten by the trap and skeet bug and now spend 4 days a week breaking clays and two days a week reloading hulls. That doesn't leave much time to practice my Glock and Beretta. Now, I'm shooting trap or skeet 4 days a week. And, burning up about 500 shells a week.

I am a very sick man. Is there a 12 step program for trap and skeet shooters? Help Me!! Mikey

Two trips to the range a week. shoot about 75 percent 9mm and 25 percent 45 acp.

One day, I do defensive shooting training with steel plates, bowling pins, and IPSC targets.

The second day, I just plink and have fun and chew the fat. 100-200 rounds a week. Quality over quantity.

Its the freqency and regularity that develop your shooting skills. I just grin when I hear fella's talk about shooting 500 rounds in two or three hours. Wasteful.

I hear what you say about 500 rnds per session being overkill. What I end up doing is putting about 300 in centerfire and the rest in 22 for sight picture. I usually spend half a day shooting to try and combat the fatigue problem. I would like to go out every week, but just to many other commitments.
