I'm looking for a excellent gunsmith to give a S&W AIP 5904 a makeover. What I'd like to have done is a action job making the pistol function flawlessly, PT bar dot night sights installed and having the pistol re-finished in Hard Chrome, perferably by Checkmate.
This pistol will be the wife's primary carry weapon as as such has to function perfectly every time. She might also shoot IDPA with it.

She had settled on a Glock 19 but just discovered late tonight she likes the old S&W AIP 5404 better Think she will sleep on the sofa for giving me gas, she goes and finds somthing in the safe gathering dust that fits her hands like it was made for them.

We live close to Denver Co, any S&W pistol smiths in the Denver area????

What Gunsmiths can be recommended to give this pistol a makeover

Joey, I'd be happy to do this for you. I'm not in Colorado but if you don't find anyone close just e-mail me. George

Want to know what the wife has gone and done now, besides giving me major gas?????

She has finally settled on the 19, so as of right now do not have the need of a smith. However, will keep you in mind George whenever the need for a smith pops up in the future. Thanks much!
