I love my Kahr K9, but hate the rubber grips. I hate rubber grips in general, but I especially hate them on a carry weapon.
So... that means after two years of despising the rubber grips I'm finally looking to change them. Trouble is, Replacement aftermarket grips for the K9 are hard to find. I can get some exotic woods from Kahr, made by Hogue I believe. But beyond that I've come up dry. I'm especially interested the Carbon Creation grips. Does anyone know of a web address for them? The link to them on Shooters is no good. Any hints would be appreciated! ------------------ Dan Check me out at: www.mindspring.com/~susdan/interest.htm www.mindspring.com/~susdan/GlocksnGoodies.htm |

Dan,
Have you seen the Kahr E9 grips? They are made of the hard plastic just as the Kahr MK9 and Cover 40 grips. The E9 is the econo version of the K9 (cheap finish, non dove tailed front sight, non Hogue rubber grips). I too prefer non rubber grips because on me they hang up on my jacket upon drawing the pistol. I had a Hogue Handall on my Glock 19 but I took off because of this reason, but I went with the 'skate board tape' sides on it. Kahr should be willing to sell you the E9 grips. You can find their email address at their website www.kahr.com Robb |

Robb,
Thanks for the tip. I was unaware that the E9 had plastic grips. Gonna fire of an E-Mail to Kahr right now! ------------------ Dan Check me out at: www.mindspring.com/~susdan/interest.htm www.mindspring.com/~susdan/GlocksnGoodies.htm |
