Has anyone out there tried beaver castor as a curiosity/stopping scent for whitetails? I am pretty neutral on the whole scent debate but am going to try it this November.

I've never heard of that specific scent uses for that purpose. I'm sure it couldn't hurt though. A couple of years back vanilla was the rage here. A couple of trusted buddies swore it worked... YMMV Giz ------------------ Vote Democratic! 1 Billion Chinese can't be wrong...... |

Thanks for the advice Gizmo. Maybe vanilla as cover and the castor for deer. I have also used the commercial "earth" scents as cover. They seem ok too.
