Question about reloading with plastic sabots

My question is for those who are knowledgeable about reloading using .30 caliber sabots which hold .22 cal bullets - can these succesfully be used with good results in barrels with a .311 bore, rather than a .308 bore? I particularly interested in whether they can be used in .303 brit ammo - does the 3/1,000ths really make a difference in them being held/crimped in, or a difference in accuracy with these? Anyone tried them in .303 brit or 7.62x39mm?
