HAS ANYONE USED A PRODUCT CALLED FASTEX? WHAT WERE THE RESULTS IF YOU USED IT.

THIS PRODUCT SOUNDS LIKE A MUCH BETTER SOLUTION THAN MOLY, WHICH WILL NEVER POLLUTE MY BARRELS AGAIN. :barf:

THANX FOR ANY HELP.

Fastex DID shut a lot of the "moly snivelers"up I knew there had to be a reason for it to exist.

What happened to your barrels, Billy D? I'be been using moly to coat bullets since 1995 and have lost my enthusiasm, not to mention accuracy in a 7STW.
What is "Fastex" claiming?

Bullet Coatings

CDOC AND DON H

FOUND OUT ABOUT FASTEX ON ANOTHER FORUM www.varminthunters.com. JUST LOOK FOR THE POSTING.

I WAS NOT ENTHUSED ABOUT MOLY AFTER THE FIRST APPLICATION. I DIDN'T GET MUCH MORE SHOOTING IN THAN I DID WITHOUT. ONLY THEN I HAD TO CLEAN COPPER FOULING AND MOLY TO GET THE BORE CLEAN. AFTER THE SHOTS MY BARREL LOOKED LIKE A TIGER HAD CRAWLED THROUGH, ALL NICE AND BLACK AND ORANGE. ALL NICELY? LAYERED, LAYER OF COPPER, LAYER OF MOLY AD NAUSEUM. I WAS SLIGHTLY PERTURBED TO SAY THE LEAST. WELL LIKE LEANN WOMACKS SONG GOES "NEVER AGAIN, AGAIN".

FINALLY FOUND A GOOD MOLY REMOVER, BORE TECH MOLY REMOVER. THAT STUFF WORKS.

FASTEX IS SUPPOSED TO REDUCE FRICTION AND FOULING, GEE NOW WHERE DID I HEAR THAT BEFORE? I JUST THREW THE HOOK OUT THERE TO SEE IF ANYONE HAS ANY EXPERIENCE WITH IT. I STILL MIGHT MAKE THE BIG JUMP AND BUY SOME. IF I DO I'LL GET BACK TO YOU IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS.

I'LL KEEP IN TOUCH.
