Modifying foreend for 1 handed shooting
I was thinking of ways to modify the forend on my mossberg 590 so that I could more work the action 1 handed. I'm thinking maybe some sort of inverted oarlock type set up so the action could easily hook on a foot, car door or such. Does anybody sell such a foreend ?

If you want to shoot one-handed, buy a semi-auto.

I want to be able to shoot my pump 1 handed if need be. I have an auto, needless to say it dont shoot so good 1 handed. I am not aware of any pistol grips for most common autos but the pump gun accesaries are everywhere.

About the only thing I've seen was a plastic hand grip with a moulded-in "loop" for your hand to fit into.
This was a commercial version of the leather or nylon loop some police departments added to shotguns to prevent the shooters hand from slipping off the hand grip while pumping the gun. I would assume some type of projection could be added to a wood fore end, if not a plastic one. |
