NRA Competition Shooting?

In NRA Competition Shooting, what is considered small bore and large bore rifle shooting? Can I use a 9mm rifle for small bore rifle competition?

No.
In NRA terminology, "smallbore" is .22 LR, period. I guess you could shoot .22 Shorts if you wanted to, but .22 Magnum and the .17 rimfires are not allowed. No centerfire of any calibre need apply.
