New shotty in the house

In my travels the other day, I came across a bunch of police trade in 870's at the local gunny. Some were in great shape, some not so great, but all had potential.

I collected my meager funds and chose one from the bunch that came from the Chincoteague, Va PD. It's parkerized, the furniture shows the usual wear from riding around in a cruiser. The action is butter slick and the bore mirror bright. It's marked Remington 870 Magnum, has an 18 inch barrel and will take 2 3/4 or 3 inch shells. Out the door for $110.00.

I'll be blowin' stuff up at the range in a couple of days and let y'all know how it does.

Great deal! I love 870's, especially 870's near 100 clams. My most often-used 870 is also a police trade-in. It was a trainer actually and unlike most police trade-in's it was well used.
Good luck with it. I am sure you'll be pleased.
Mike
