Anybody have any personal experience with these slugs? I've seen some ads and a display at a local gun show. It seems as though these suckers will go through just about anything, but at $4-$5 a round, they ain't cheap!

I've seen them a couple times over the years, but have never had the chance to shoot one. The following is off of recollection and a write-up or two.

These are a sub-caliber sabot load. Very hard & somewhat arrow shaped. Alas, made by the French. Suppopsedly will punch through a fair amount of stuff, i.e: different things.

Decidely on the pricey side.
