Old article in SWAT magazine
Many years back there was an article on a straight pull action rifle made in England that used AR-15 magazines and some AR-15 parts. It had a wooded stock. It was also on the cover.
Can anyone tell me which issue it was? Does anyone know what the gun was called? Thanks HW |

I'll look through the archives.

Hunter,
It was the March, 1995 issue of S.W.A.T. and it was called the CAM rifle. The rifle looked like a cross between the Spanish FR8 and an SMLE, and did indeed use M16 mags. The source we had listed for the rifle was Key II, Inc., out of Alexandria, VA. I checked with directory assistance and they don't have a listing. Denny

Thanks Denny
Anyway you could scan the pictures in the article and the cover and post them here? Many AR guys might find it interesting. How do I purchase this back isssue? HW |

HW-
The files from my scanner are too large to post. I'm not sure if we have issues that far back, but you might try here: https://SWATmagazine.com/shop/cgi-bi...b_pg=splash%20 Denny
