Pax, I didn't take it as criticism. I did wish I had handled it differently, and I believe I will if a similar thing happens again. I was just so taken aback by what happened! And, I'll bet that mom WAS embarrassed that her child whispered loud enough for me to hear!

My Granny used to say, "I'm so ****** that my head is swimmin'". (It means dizzy with anger, for you northern guys.

) I miss my Granny. One of the only people in my family who actually LIKED me.
