Lee Case Length Gauge/Trimmer for .260 Rem

I can't seem to find one and am now convinced that they don't make them. I really can't afford a nice case trimmer like the RCBS Trim Pro right now. So I was wondering. The case length of the 7mm-08 rem and the 260 rem are the same (i.e. 2.035"). Can I get a Lee case length gauge/trimmer for the rem 7mm-08 and use it? I can't think of any reason why I couldn't, but thought I'd first check with the mass of knowledge that is TFL.

Thanks in advance!

Lee Case Length Gauge/Trimmer for .260

If it is available in .260...
I have a Lee Trimmer Cutter and Pilot that I use as a case length gage for my .22 Hornet.

It's the lee case length pilot and holder that I'm looking for, but I'm pretty sure it's not made for .260 rem.

You know what, for $3 or whatever they cost, I'm just gonna give it a shot with one for a 7mm-08.

The pilot for the 7mm-08 won't fit the .260 case neck. A better approach will be to use the .243WCF as the 6mm pilot will fit. Better yet-Call Lee at 262-673-3075 and they will either send you a .260 set or will make you one.

i'm not familiar with the 260 or wheather it's made or not but when i couldn't find one for 44 spec....i just took a 44mag pilot and shortened the stem that goes through the primer hole enough that i could use it for 44spec....you may try that.....Dick

How about that! I just went to Lee's website and after reading the fine print (this time) I see that they will, in fact, make custom sets for only $15. I'm going to give them a call and have 'em make one.

Thanks all!
