It's not censorship, just a little encouragement to find a thread that's already been started.

Yup, I locked it. As Gorthaur mentioned, it isn't censorship. Some subjects get repeated very often & have a tendency to generate a lot of discussion each time. All of the discussion takes up server space. What I decided to try and do on frequent questions was to see if it had been discussed within the last 30 days. If it has, I post the links to the last discussion & lock it. If it looks real common but hasn't been discussed within 30 days, I'll just post the links. There's a search function built into this site & it works nicely. If folks thinks this is an unreasonable way of doing things, I'm open to suggestion. Erick |
