Mil spec brass in a Mini?

Is it ok to reload milspec brass for a Mini-14? I've read some things that indicate no. If not, why not?

Milsurp brass is fine.

Keep in mind that most military brass has less case capacity than commercial brass, so reduce loads accordingly.
