Pictures of Leather Scabbard, Holster, & Belt
Hey folks,
Here are six pics showing some hand tooled leather things I made including: a scabbard I made for my Marlin 1895 Cowboy, a cartridge belt and holster for my Ruger Super Blackhawk, and a knife sheath. Notice how the knife is period correct for the 1895 Marlin Cowboy? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hope some might find these interesting. Best wishes, Dave Wile |

VERY nice, Dave..
The leatherwork always seems nicer when you do it yourself. I'm not as good as you at it, but I just made a sheath for a skinning knife (which I also made) and a leather case for my pilot's license and necessary papers. I guess I've been inspired by my friend, RJ Hedley. Of course I couldn't make holsters like he turns out if my life depended on it!

Looks like really nice work - - -
- - -you say the bayonet is for the Marlin? I wondered if it might be for that long barrelled resolver.
