I am curious if anyone can compare perceived recoil differences between Remington 11 (or Browning Auto 5) and Mossberg 500 or 590. I am considering a swap, but not sure I can take more kick than I am getting now.

I tried a Browning O/U and, with skeet loads, it was as mild as the Model 11...can I expect the 590 to behave similarly?

Finally, what is the going price on it, with ghost ring sight?

If you are speaking of the going price on a 590 w/ ghost ring sights, I just paid $331 for mine.

MGB, I was curious if you got the Mossberg at that price at a show, or over mail order. I'm kinda looking myself too.

At my local range (RangeMasters of Utah in Springville, UT www.rangemasters.com ) They sell many of their guns for about 3% above cost. They stock guns more as a service than a significant revenue generator.
