First, I realize that a 'tactical' shotgun in 20ga is pretty close to heresy. However, my better-half is not thrilled with my 12 ga 870 and I need to set a shotgun up for her. That said, I'm looking for information on the following for a 20ga 870:
-Sights -Light (does SureFire make one? I can't tell from their web site) TIA. Check 6, Erick |

Sometimes a little Heresy is good for ya! I enjoy a good .20 gauge and think that they make an almost perfect "house gun" in many cases.
(And for fun and a wagering, you can't hardly beat a pump .410 for Skeet.) I would think that any competent smith can mount any sights appropriate for a 12 gauge on a 20 gauge. Try a tritium front dot or an Ashley (sp?) Big dot sight. I think GRs are overrated for indoor home defense use. Tactical light might be a little problem if you need na internal stock light, why not settle for a good old fashioned clamped on mag light? (that's all anybody had no more than 8-10 short years ago, if they had that much) ------------------ -Essayons |

Rob,
Thank you. Being mechanically inclined enough to break guns but not fix them, I wasn't sure if 12 ga sights would work on the 20ga receiver / barrel. Erick |
