Loading 44Mag on Dillon SDB
I have been reloading 9mm and 38spl on a Dillon Square Deal B for almost 5 years and love the machine. I have recently acquired a Ruger Super Redhawk 44 Mag and would like to begin reloading accurate hunting rounds. Is the SDB capable of producing accurate hunting rounds? I have heard that the space between the shell holder and the dies is tight when reloading 44 Mag. Does anyone have any experience with this? I would rather not have to purchase another reloader.
Thanks in advance for all your help!!! |

My only caution with this is if you're using faster powders, like Unique or Universal Clays, or 231 and if you're not really careful, you can load a double charge.
Don't allow distractions, and if you have to stop during the cycle, take ALL of the "in process" rounds off the press. |
