Brass
Hi guys i stumbled upon another question i have. Im buying new brass from cabelas ( remington 45 acp brass) and was just wondering if anyone else bought brass from there because im assuming that they take a large primer but i dont know for sure cause i know 45 acp take both small and large primers. I dont want to buy them and find out they take small primer cause i have large primers for the 45 acp now. thanks.

Cabelas is pretty customer-friendly. Looks like you can do live-chat with them right now, if you hop on it:

Remington's brass isn't that great (depending on what company's primers you intend to use - a Federal primer in a Remington case will usually be a loose fit) Look at Federal or Winchester or Starline.

I agree with drail. My favorite is Starline, but they might be in short supply right now. A nice added advantage of Starline is that it is a lot easier to pick out your own brass from what 's on the ground or the floor. Since they don't make their own line of ammo, their cases aren't as common.

Can't beat their direct prices or their brass. |

StarLine
I agree, my new brass has been exclusively StarLine for a few years now, I am very happy with it.

Why don't they make rifle brass?

Probably because they can't keep up with the demand for their handgun brass.
