Newer Talo version....
Are you talking about the older format or the newer target grey model?
These Talo model GP .357magnum revolvers are not cheap but I never shot any yet. Clyde F |

I do own one, as of rather recently. The sights are solidly fixed into the dovetails, and they are both noticeably to the left of center-line.

Picked one up used about three weeks ago. Two range trips with no problems. Approx 300 rds fired.

Yes they are very far left. I did move mine to the right to center and it drifted back to the left

Has not happened to mine, have 2 and a friend with a 3rd. Have prob 2500-3k rounds through our combined 3 guns. 80% moderate loads 20% full house 357.
Would really tick me off if they did though I plan to put a gold bead on one -- have to find a source for one or make one. For folks who have them moving on them, what is the fix? Locktight? |

A bit of loctite should keep the sight from going anywhere.
Other than that you could send it into Ruger and they will fix it for you. Their customer service is supposed to be very good. |

Loctite has a large number of products, and some can be harmful to plastics. A good hardware store may have a variety of slow setting or instant glues that could work. Perhaps something simple like a partial drop of clear nail polish in the dovetail might hold the front sight from drifting loose. Slide the sight over, apply the adhesive, then align the sight before the glue sets up.
