Imr sr4756/7625

How is this in 9mm and 38/357 with 125 cast and 45acp with 200 cast? I am trying to find a powder that I can buy in bulk that is in stock. Reason I ask is because I know bullseye and w231/hp38 are the top choice and I have great results with those but can never find in stock.

I really love 7625 in 9mm and .38 Super, but when I loaded it in .357 with 125 LFP's I got wild velocity swings.

I've used 4756 in .357 with 158 plated FP's with very good results. I used it as a substitute for HS-6 and won't be going back. Much cleaner burning (virtually no unburned powder, an important factor for revolver shooters IMO. Plus you don't need magnum primers with 4756.

I'm hoping to try 4756 in 9mm here soon, the ballistic charts look very impressive as far as high velocity and low pressure.

No experience with them in .45acp, but I would think 7625 would be an excellent performer there.

Both meter perfectly for me.

When I first started loading, I used 4756 in both 9mm & .40 - good results. I wasn't loading .45 at the time. I got a great deal on Unique, and have primarily used that since, but have a pound of 4756 on the shelf waiting for me.

I was using plated & FMJ; I wasn't shooting cast at the time.

how fast you need to go?

Alliant Power Pistol can make accurate ammo in the mentioned chamberings.

Hodgdon Universal can, too.

So can Accurate AA5, and Hodgdon HS6, and others.
