preferred ammo for 30-06 springfield 1903-a3?

I know that each gun has it's own "preference" on grain/style of ammo, but i'm sure there is at least one or two varieties that work pretty decent all-around. so what do you guys shoot out of your o3' springfields,? links to good stores to but the ammo from would be awesome/helpful.

you wouldn't believe it but my 1903A4 that was rebarreled at some point with an A3 barrel made holes touching groups with regular old M2 ball ammo.

Mine loves Hornady 180 gr BTSP over IMR 4350.

From an accuracy standpoint I'd try these:http://www.midwayusa.com/product/527...tail-box-of-20, black-hills-gold-ammunition-30-06-springfield-168-grain-hornady-match-hollow-point-boat-tail-box-of-20 and http://www.midwayusa.com/product/274...oint-box-of-20

You can always try the various 150gr FMJ loads, some of them do shoot surprisingly accurate out of some rifles.

Ammo

Shot my first MOA group with my old Springfield years ago. Never had a need to change the load as it shoots well out of all of my .30-06 rifles.
165 grain Remington PSP atop 54 grains of IMR 4350.
