That rear sight is almost center. The firing pin safety "rectangle thing" you see in front of the rear sight is not on center on the 92FS. It is to the right of the rear sight on Beretta 92FS's. Posts that say it is off center don't own nor have owned a Beretta 92FS.

In my opinion its not even a close call. Sig all the way! I have carried the Sig on a daily basis for over 20 years. I keep the 92 because that is one of the weapons I am issued when doing Army duty. I have had many more issues with the 92s than any Sig.

Also for consideration, is if you want to deal with a safety or not. For me, I cannot overcome 20 years of muscle memory with the Sig to remember to flip off the 92 safety. As such, in Afghanistan my safety was my finger.....although others did not always agree.

You can, of course, leave the safety "off" on the Beretta and carry it in this configuration-safely.

I have a Sig P228, a Beretta 92FS, and 92FS Compact L. I like the Berettas much better. They are more accurate for me, and due to the DA/SA operation, I do not engage the safety. They are excellent pistols, and less expensive than the Sigs.

That safety on 92fs is built on the slide. how intuitive is that say compared to positioning of sig p226 decocker?

It is much eaiser to use the Sigs decocker than it is to use the Beretta safety/decocker.Also there is no chance of engageing the safety on a Sig as you can on the Beretta by racking the slide.I own both and if I had to choose just one it would be a hard decision but it would be Sig all the way.

The SIG is a better weapon. The Beretta is a cooler gun. Either will do you just fine for any likely serious social needs.

I am a SIG guy but I'd be hard pressed to sell my 92.

A better comparison would be Equinox vs. Inox. Equinox all the way.

I have a Sig 226 in .40 and love it.

Just got a Beretta 96 (.40) and love it.

Which do I love more?

My Lab or my Belgian Malinois?

I would part with neither. Each has strengths. Both are superb dogs and pistols. In this case, there is no wrong answer.

BUT..there ARE preferences. Everyone has a 92 and a Lab. Sigs and Malinois are more distinctive.

92fs inox is hard to resist. I have been craving one for a long time and also the CZ 75b stainless.

Sig all day for a lot of reasons I won't go into.

Sig accuracy is legendary.

Congrat's on the Inox. Enjoy!

Tough call, I also own a P226, P239 and Inox. Each has it's own merits. I personally wouldn't trade one for the other.

I have an Italian 92FS Inox with all stainless controls and metal trigger. It is a fantastic shooter and I love the looks. It shares mags with my tactically setup CX4 Storm.
Ditto
Hey EAJ702, where did you get the chrome barrel?
