Buy your supply of shot by the ton - there are only 80 bags to the ton. If you and your buddies get together - you can easily split up a ton or two of shot. Of course it would have been better if you had bought 2 tons of shot when it was $ 18 a bag instead of $35 a bag - but I'm betting the cost will go over $ 50 a bag before it comes down - so I calculate my inventory at a 2 year usage. Its easy to store / doesn't take up a lot of room - but keep it dry and it won't last forever without getting corroded and kind of dusty.
