This weekend I loaded up twenty .375H&H shells to run through my new Ruger No. 1.

LGS price for loaded ammo $63 plus tax, is $3.43 apiece. That's the cheapest, could have spent over $4 if I wanted to.

I bought 20 used cases for $15.50, and 50 Nosler bullets for $0.72 each. Powder and primer, total is $1.94 each reloaded cartridge.

Next reload without the cost of the case, I'm down to $1.18 each, or 1/3 of the price of commercial ammo. The price of the dies and conversion kit will amortize to zero in less than 60 rounds, then I'm really money ahead.

If I bought my powder in bulk, I'd knock some off the totals.
