I'm currently shooting 9mm, 115 g round nose bullet, 5.1 g of Win 231 propellant, and am tired of punching holes in paper. I want to shoot metallic targets in a wooded area at a friends. Anyone offer any advise on safe load at a given distance from metal target, thickness of the plate, etc. I'm not interested in competative shooting just want to hear something "clank" or move.
