I traded for a S&W 19 the other day. When I got home I noticed a "bubble" about an inch from the end of the barrel.

I am apprehencive about shooting it.

I am thinking about cutting the barrel and drill and tap the front sight on. Any help would be appreciated. In the mean time I am looking for a used barrel that I can afford.
