I bought a Model 422 today(6" black, fixed sights). The owner gave me 2 S&W magazines with the pistol, one a 12 round with orange follower, the other, a 10 round with black follower. I was looking the magazines over, and the 10 round magazine doesnt have a hole in the baseplate to push in the pin. How do you disassemble this magazine, and can it be converted to 12 rounds by cutting the underside of the follower? Thanks
