K98 Bayonet Question

I bought a K98 bayonet in a pawn shop the other day ($25). The bayonet and sheath have matching serial numbers. I don't think it is anything rare, being an F. W. Holler, 1940, with bakelite grips. Here is the question: somewhere along the line, someone sharpened this bayonet. It was very well done, but the edge is clearly ground and sharpened. How much does that affect the value? It is otherwise in good condition. There is a fairly large dent in the somewhat rusty sheath, and there is the typical rusty handle, but the bluing on the blade, other than the ground portion, is like new. It locks up on my K98 just like it did 68 years ago.
