I'm still a bit hesitant to consider a speedfeed stock until I've tried one out myself.

Oh, and just checked the specs and the 590 SPX does come with the heavy barrel, metal trigger guard and metal safety.

Didn't realize Mossbergs were already drilled and tapped, I may just go that route of adding my own rail... thanks for the info.
