I also have a 3" gp100 with the old style compact grip on it, and like it very much. Even the "old style" full size grip looks and feels fine on this particular gun - much more proportionate than the Hogue. Funny thing is, I like the Hoque rubber grips on my Smith and Wesson N frames, but for some reason do not like them on my Rugers. I have bought several of the old style full size grips from various sources just to have around in the drawer for later use. jben
