I too, remember the tv cowboys shows and playing with TOY GUNS and
every chance I've got over the last 12 years I have gotten my grandson
a TOY GUN, especially if it looked like any that I had. He has mastered the BB and pellet rifle and pistol..... that were my when I was his age. I taken him to the range to shoot 22 revolver and rifle as often as I can.
Last week I got this game "Dangerous Hunts" it works with my Wii.
The only game I have because it has a pistol grip and stock instead of
a hand control. They drive this old man crazy.
I played a while, to the point where I thought I could hold my own (93,000 score) and then brought my grandson over to play this new game.....HA!
He let me know that he had played it at his friends house and that he, my
grandson was NATURAL with the game. We played, his end score was 300,000.
I have and still do what I can to plant the seed.......SECOND AMEMENDMENT!
The other day I took him to Wal-Mart and said I got $20.00 you can
spend. He took off for the sports section handled the BB GUNS and looked at
all the real rifles and then went for the Nerf guns. He stood looking at them
for a long time and I said " what is wrong?" his reply was "I can't decide bet
ween the two Nerf pistols." together they come to more than $20.00 dollars.
I told him that when I had that kind of problem with guns I would purchase
both, if I could afford them and today he could afford them both!
I reached for more money, serves me right for being so cheap.
