Several of the Long range BPCR guys use it....it is known to be pretty good powder. Many say that Swiss is the only powder that is better and many would argue that Swiss may not be as good as KiK.
The new Old Eynsford has gotten some pretty good reviews also.
Depends on what you are doing with it..but if it is just going into cap&ball revolvers or Hawken style guns...I can't see any reason to use expensive powder. If you are trying to score good hits/groups at 800-1200yards...then the powder needs to be the best available IMO
