I struggled with the same question myself. The issue isn't really length, as that just goes down your pants with IWB carry. The real issue is grip length. I ended up going with the G19, deciding that the extra capacity outweighed the shorter grip. The difference, especially if you put on a mag extension, is not that much. With a good holster, I conceal and carry my G19 all day, every day.
