I'm seriously considering the purchase of a Colt 3rd generation Peacemaker but I've read that some of the early ones had quality problems with frame to grip strap mismatch and over zealous buffing that rounded off corners that should have remained square. Is there a certain range of manufacturing dates where these problems occured?
