FWIW the M&P357 is often less expensive because of generally low market demand. CDNN is currently selling them for $399.

I was looking for a 40c, but found a 357c for dirt cheap. I was able to buy the gun and a 40 barrel for cheaper than I could find a 40c. Turns out I kinda fell in love with the 357 Sig...recoils like a 9. But I use the 40 barrel to shoot cheaper.
